An interesting excursion is a visit to the Workman's Village. On the way we passed through part of a village and beside one of the few donkeys we saw.

Although we did not notice it at the time, there was a small sign indicating some kind of planned excavation was underway. There was a large excavated area and workmen carrying away debris. So, as in the past, the people of the area work in tourism and in excavation work.
